Who are we?

An easy going theatre and entertainment group, that's who.  Our members enjoy a fun hobby where they can meet new people and make friends.  Firmly established as part of the life of the village of Tockwith we perform in our second home, Tockwith Village Hall.  We usually have two or three productions a year. Our traditional Panto in Autumn and in recent times a Musical Revue and a dramatic offering in the Springtime.  Also an occasional Murder Mystery.
 
You don’t have to be an acting luvvie to join in the fun. The great thing about the Players is that there are plenty of other activities to enjoy – from the artistic like scenery- painting, prop-making, costumes, lighting and sound to the more practical like front of house, stage management, prompting and publicity. We don’t ask for any experience just bundles of enthusiasm.

You could also become one of our ‘Friends’ and just come along and enjoy our productions and social events.
